Ways To Donate
Our primary mechanism for giving currently is through Click And Pledge. Simply click the Donate button to open a new tab on Click And Pledge. Then fill out the form, select your preferred fund (see Funds below), and submit.
In addition to donating online (by clicking the Donate button above), you may donate by check. Donations via check should be mailed to PO Box 833, Brookings, SD 57006. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Donor Services at ILT.
Financial Aid Funds
Dennis Bielfeldt Scholarship Fund
To further the legacy of Dr. Bielfeldt, our founding president of ILT and the current Chancellor of its Christ School of Theology, ILT invites you to contribute to the Dennis Bielfeldt Scholarship Fund. These scholarships will make ILT’s outstanding theological education even more affordable and accessible to more students, so that even more people can hear the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pathways Scholarship Program
As the need grows for pastors and ministry professionals who are both theologically grounded and mission-minded, this scholarship program provides essential financial support directly to students preparing for service. Donors can name their scholarship recipient(s) and define key terms such as the number of years the award is given and the degree program it supports. Imagine you want to provide a future pastor for your home church. You can establish a scholarship in your name, your church’s name, or in honor of someone else’s legacy, for a student willing to serve in your congregation following graduation.
Financial Aid Fund
Gifts to the Financial Aid Fund provide direct tuition assistance to Christ School of Theology and Christ College students pursuing graduate degrees, undergraduate degrees, pastoral training and divinity degrees, ministry certificate programs, and more. Many of these students serve as pastors, church staff, interns, ministry leaders, and laypersons seeking to deepen their theological education and strengthen their service to the Church. ILT believes that financial circumstances should never prevent someone from pursuing theological education or ministry training. Your support helps reduce financial barriers so students can focus on their studies, formation, and service. Through these gifts, future Christian leaders are equipped to serve congregations, ministries, and communities more effectively.
Christ School of Theology Financial Aid Fund
Funds going to the Christ School of Theology Financial Aid Fund will go directly to aiding CST students with tuition. Many CST students are working as pastors, others may be interns, others yet may be looking to build a second career but do not have funds for graduate school when their priority must lie with their families. It is CST’s policy that money should never be the reason some one does not study with us; nevertheless, funding tuition is a reality that all CST students are mindful of. Please give to the Christ School of Theology Financial Aid Fund so that our students can focus on their studies, research, and service to God’s church instead of on finances.
Funds
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund supports ILT in its daily operating expenses and resource needs. While this fund does not go to tuition (as the Financial Aid Fund does), it covers administrative costs, helping ILT institutions keep tuition fees down. When you donate to the Annual Fund, ILT is given the resources needed to provide the best education possible for all ILT students whether at Christ College or the Christ School of Theology.
Library Fund
As a global, reformational, theological and educational endeavor, ILT is continually in need of purchasing resources to support students in their studies. As new programs of study commence, new resources are needed to support them. When you donate to the Library Fund, the books and online resources needed for our students to face the challenges of ministering and teaching in our secular age will be there for them.
International Partners Fund
The International Partners Fund is used for international students based upon financial need. This aid is available to any international Christ School of Theology students or Christ College students and, in past years, has been particularly helpful to students in Asia and Africa. Donations to the ILT International Partners Fund ensure that ILT’s international students can focus on their studies and service in God’s community.
Endowment Fund
ILT is a member of the South Dakota Community Foundation, having received an initial donation of $5000 for the establishment of an ILT Endowment Fund. Contributions to the Endowment Fund can be used to support ILT or our students in many ways, including directing additional financial resources to the other ILT funds as needed. Thus, donations to this fund can purchase resources for the library, cover operating expenses, support the needs of international partners, pay for students’ work study opportunities, or bolster ILT’s capacity to give financial aid. We are grateful for our generous donors, their assistance in the launch of ILT’s Endowment Fund, and their commitment to the further success of ILT and its mission. A donor can donate to the Endowment Fund through Click and Pledge, or directly through the SD Community Foundation website. When a donor gives to the Endowment Fund, the future of ILT becomes more secure.

Christ School of Theology Annual Fund
You can donate directly to the Christ School of Theology. Funds selected specifically for CST may be put toward anything CST needs to further its work, (other than financial aid) whether it be operating expenses, teaching materials, research, or CST events. Your gift ensures that the Christ School of Theology can continue doing what it does: fostering a truly global academic community with an unwavering dedication to the Christian faith from a Reformational perspective.

Other Ways To Give
COMMODITY GIVING/FARM TAX RELIEF
Many farmers regularly and generously give to their churches or other charitable organizations. A farmer who actively engages in farming can have significant tax savings by donating crop proceeds directly to charity.
If you’re interested in learning more, please consult with your tax preparer.
IRA GIVING
People who are age 70 ½ or older can contribute up to $100,000 from their IRA directly to a charity and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution. It is limited to IRAs, and there are other exclusions and considerations as well.
ESTATE GIVING
Charitable gift planning can be a simple process. For example, you can write a check, hand over cash, transfer stock or sign a quit-claim deed to real estate directly to the charity of your choosing. Speak with your financial planner or lawyer for more information.
